What does a graphic designer do?
Graphic Designers are responsible for the visual communication behind a brand. They are responsible for a brands visual marketing, logos and typography. Graphic designers are essential for ensuring that a brands ethos and style is visually shown in everything they release. Their work is way more important than people give them credit for. Graphic design is everywhere we look, not just on a website. Graphic Designers are the reason for every piece of branding we see for a brand, they design all of the typography and the logos that immediately make us recognise the brand.
A day in the life for a Graphic Designer is being given a brief or project from a client, then they will brainstorm how to tackle what’s been asked of them. After they come up with their concept, they will show their plan, and have it approved by the client. Then if this goes well, then they will work on creating the final outcome that the consumers will see. This is a very important role as it is a massive responsibility. For example, a usual project for a graphic designer is to design a logo for a brand. This means they are in charge of how the whole world will view and perceive the brand.
